42 mile ride this morning. 64 degrees and no humidity when I started at 6:30. Almost a little chilly for the first 5-6 miles.

The route is 21 miles of averaging downhill towards a river bottom. Then you get to turn around and come back up! Went out a little too hard this morning which made the ride back home tough.

Have a great weekend!

I only got 37 miles in on my bike ride, but I ran a little over 5K off the bike so it was a little over 40 miles total.  I will get the 42 miles next week.  :-)

1:42 worth of long run this morning along the Greenbelt. Got it in before it got hotter than h....and had a nice brunch at a riverside cafe afterwards. 2200 yards of swimming PM. Not going anywhere very fast but good as PT and recovery from run.

I think I'm too much of an Oregonian for this place. I avoid even going out after noon this time of year--not so much the heat as the sun on most days is just blinding, gives me a headache, and it feels like I will dry up into a raisin. I think a combo of altitude, fewer trees, and super-dry air. Summer long runs are usually along the river as it's cooler and a bit more moisture in the air.

7 miles and 18 holes of golf was enough for this cat. Spent the afternoon in the pool and watched a movie. Good times.
