I think they are having a couple race talks at Paradowski's on Sat as well. They'll do a pretty good job at explaining the course there. They'll also give beginners tips for transition, etc. Good luck! |

Extreme Veteran 547 Canyon Hills (Lake Elsinore), CA | Subject: RE: Jamba Juice Triathlon on Mission Bay I plan on going to the 3:00 prerace meeting. Anyone else? Also, my wife, myself, and our daughter will be staying at Campland on Saturday so if anyone else is camping give a shout out.
On a side note, if you are camping, it should be interesting. It's mostly sold out to Parrot Heads (which I've been known to be every now and again) but I need my sleep Sat. night this year

I'm not sure what the schedule is for the expo on Saturday, but I do plan on going down sometime in the early afternoon. What are the ideas? So far the options are Saturday, before the race or after the race. I'm up for whatever, although I think Saturday would be easiest and would make it easier to recognize people after the race Sunday. Just a thought. |

Elite 3235 San Diego | Subject: RE: Jamba Juice Triathlon on Mission Bay My daughter has a soccer game at 2 on Sat. If you guys are going to meet after the expo, let me know. I can meet up with you. Also, I like the idea of meeting up after the race as well. They always have a stage with a band so we can meet there or at the Jamba Juice booth (they will have one of those too). The transition area closes before the race starts, and it is a point to point so swim, so after it closes everybody needs to walk to the swim start (about 500 yards away) there will be some time that we will all be at the start so we can meet there too (pre race) Another idea is to write "BT" on your right calf so we could look for each other while out there. |

You pick up your stuff, then head inside for your tshirt and swag bag. Along the parking lot of Paradowskis are boothes from different vendors. Jamba Juice should be there, so you could meet there. Also the course talk is in the grass just south of the entrance, they will have a bike and a simulated transition area as well as the course map set up on a tree (I think) You could meet there too. |
