Subject: Daily Ketosis?

I had been training in the afternoon and really got into a low-energy rut.   So I've switched to early morning and for 2 days I've had an early dinner, skipped dessert, and I don't eat until after my early morning work out.  I'm thinking that engenders a daily period of ketosis.  The results (after just 2 days) are a much improved energy level that lasts the whole day.

Just wishful thinking?

I have no idea, but I do know that when I am in Ketosis my teeth taste metallic. It can happen in a couple days when juice fasting for me.

I would do some research on working out in a fasted state. A youtube channel I watch (GTN) had an episode on this and if I recall they came to the conclusion that fasted workouts are good once a week on a lighter workout to condition the body to burn fat for energy. They also said that lot's of heavy exertion while fasting can be harmful to the body and can limit the effectiveness of the workout. Let me know if you are interested and can't find the episode.
