as President Trump mops the floor with idiot Democrat leaders and media......CNN headlines a warning that "Intelligence Officials say Russia is trying to get Trump Re-elected"......and that "Goldman Sachs Warns of Market Correction".

You can't make this up. LMAO

A. Schiff AND Devin Nunez allegedly are on the same page as far as the intelligence community report is concerned. Not asking judgemenally, but do you not believe our intelligence community? On what basis?

I think our intelligence/federal law enforcement community is full of Obama era holdovers. Holder, for example, is a racist joke as far as I'm concerned.  No, I don't trust them.  Many have an objective of removing the President at any cost.....I'm not a conspiracy guy, but I can read, and I've seen what the Democrats have tried to do since day one of this Presidency.  Clean house!

Thanks for sharing.

I concur there's tons of anti-Trump sentiment within the gov't. But I feel that's always the case (recall McConnell pledging from day 1 to not work w/Obama).

But anyway, to the matter at hand, do you think our intelligence community is actively seeking to oust the president by fabricating a "narrative" that Russia's meddling in our elections? And how would this fabrication aid is ousting him?

Your first question.  Like I said, that's fairly conspiratorial so no (on it's face).  Do I think that there is an element in our intelligence community that thought they could (can) influence the election.  Yes, and I think they tried and have been trying.  Members of the FBI said as much.  Do I think those morons think that they can influence the American public's voting by pushing a fake narrative....of course they do.  Look at the impeachment hearing and listen to Schiff's words on a daily basis.

Would it aid in ousting him.....no way.  That horse is out of the barn.  The majority of Americans see this as it is....I'm confident of that, especially if the opposition becomes a party based, in any way, on socialist ideals.  Those people are nuts if they think that will fly....but from the bubble they live in they absolutely think so.  All it really does is solidify the divide we all now feel.

Your answer's hard to follow (I'm a big dummy). Trying to educate myself on what I may be missing:

------Is our intelligence community lying, i.e., the Russians are NOT trying to (& did not) infiltrate our elections?-----

Because, if they are telling the truth... should we be concerned that the president publicly takes Putin's position that Russia didn't (and is not now) messing with us? Who should we, the citizens (without regard to party affiliation), believe... our intelligence or Putin?

How do you think they are influencing our elections?  Twitter bots?   Are they sending money?  Infiltrating Instagram? Facebook?

I'll tell you what they are NOT doing.....they are not changing the box score.  They are not changing actual election results, and nobody has ever said they were.  So you can't stop the rest of it......besides, who exactly is afraid of their vote being influenced by Russia?  Are you?  Do you think Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan fell from the Democrats because of RUSSIA????  It would be nuts to think that.....but that's what the Dems would let you believe happened.

Are we REALLY back to Russian collusion???  Should we spend another 40 million to prove that nothing can be proved?

This is all craziness.....but what else do the Democrats have?  Hell, they are already getting the excuses for losing in November lined up.....those damn pesky Russians.  LMAO  These boneheads actually say the economy is not that  great....AS A TALKING POINT!!

Do you know who is actually influencing the next election.....I'll tell you....it's the guy who won the last election running, again, on the program that got him elected....because he has delivered on nearly EVERYTHING he campaigned on and more people are employed and doing well, across all sectors, than at any time in our history.  He was/is able to do that because the alternative offered by the democrats sucks.....the Russians had nothing to do with that.  The Dems need to look in the mirror.

Now CNN is reporting that Sanders has been told that Russia is trying to help HIS campaign in the democrat primaries.  Is that so they can then help Trump win in the Presidential campaign like they originally reported?  Or is it because Russia thinks Trump can easily beat Sanders and they want Trump over an avowed Socialist?  Or will Russia then help Sanders get elected?  More crazy stupidity.

The Dems and their media hacks have lost it.  LMAO

Just answer the question....do you think Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania went to Trump, and will again, because of Russian meddling? Because if THAT'S what you know I've got a bridge for sale. LOL

The theory is Russia will put out misleading information to sway public opinion. Hmmmm, sounds like what every politician does! Why does anyone think the Russian disinformation is anymore effective than what the candidates (liberal/conservative media) provides?

Bloomberg has spent $400 million doing exactly this. It was recently reported he had MMichael Bloomberg's presidential campaign will reportedly pay hundreds of people $2,500 a month to promote the candidate via text message and their personal social media feeds.

Looks like Bloomberg is meddling....

"Just answer the question": NO, I believe people who voted Trump would have voted for him either way.

Your turn, yes/no: Did Russia meddle in 2016 election or is the president right that they didn't?

I just wonder if politics fogs our perspective (both directions)... that Russia's messing w/us shouldn't be politicized. We're all American.

My perspective is that Russia shouldn't be messing w/us. They have bad intentions. That's all... not a liberal/conservative issue. I *think* we should all be united on this.

Governments around the world work to influence elections of other countries. We do as well. I think it's a non-issue unless you can show me ballot tampering. I think George Soros works harder than Russia to influence our elections.

If you REALLY want to see "election meddling"...keep your eye on what the Democrat party does to Bernie Sanders. Russia is NOT the problem.

Yup. Brokered convention because no one has a majority on first vote. Then on the second vote the super delegates (establishment dem) will choose Bloomberg. Mark my word! Bernie will have the most delegates but Bloomberg will take the nomination when the party elders decide Bernie can’t beat Trump but Bloomberg can. These super delegates will overrule because they know better than the voters.

Yup. And then the Bernie Bros lose their minds and the party gets split again... after they tear up a bunch of chit. LOL. Then again, Bernie COULD get enough delegates and then it's just a complete meltdown.

This was originally about Russia meddling in OUR elections. Not criticizing, but interesting how the conversation swayed (as is now the norm) towards "what about the democrats!".

Doesn't matter that other countries, including us, meddle in others' elections. We are the USA & shouldn't be OK with it.

We shouldn't be so divided that we can't see this for what it is. Let's debate policy, but let's still be Americans.

This is what I said from day 1.....and it still applies.  Who's fault was it if there was Russian meddling?  Donald Trump??  Really?  A political neophyte who didn't even think he would win?   That's kinda crazy.  Who was in charge during the 2016 elections?  Yes, I'm sorry, this is absolutely about Democrats, and the Obama administration IF there was interference in the election.  Look....we had a 2 year investigation to see if Trump's campaign meddled......nothing.  Let's have a 2 year investigation of the Clinton campaign......why not?  Because she lost?

You can't convince me that the Clinton machine and the DNC is not the most corrupt political entity in the history of this country.....if you don't believe it.....watch for yourself as they work to dismantle Sander's bid for the nomination.

I'm sorry, my friend, this country is flourishing right now......and one side keeps trying to bring that down.  This IS about the Democrats, not the Russians.

I think you need to understand people like me. Yessir, we are all Americans, but we elected a man to do exactly what this President has done......DULY ELECTED. And your party has done nothing since that day but try to undo it. Yeah, we are divided, but we're NEVER going to forget this. We're a loooong way from debating policy, because I (and people like me) no longer care what you want. We understand that nothing will ever be enough for your party, short of your way, to the exclusion of the people who elected this President. Well..... sorry, no.

Two replies for two replies...

My point/concern is that, no matter who is responsible for allowing the Russians to meddle, they are doing it. Who is in charge today shouldn't pretend it's not happening.

"My party": I'm not a "democrat" or "liberal". I have no party (I vote candidate before party). I'm just American and want to hear the opinion of others. It's all good. No need for us to hate one another. And yes, whoever said the president wasn't duly elected is delusional.

See... we're on dual opposites of the spectrum but there's no reason why we can't have a candid conversation. Because at the end of the day, what I "want" is really what you want as well. Your response ("We understand that nothing will ever be enough for your party...") is a sad example of where we are in this country. It doesn't have to be this way.

Unfortunately, there is no other conclusion to draw after watching the 3 years since President Trump was elected.  I don't care what the Democrats/Liberals want.....it's a NO from me....on ALL OF IT.
