So the defense’s opening statement is “Everything they just said is BS!” ala My Cousin Vinny.

It’s easy to present a defense opening statement that says all the accusations are false when they did not present evidence. As I said, when and if they present evidence it won’t be able to be blown off as easily. What I saw was that they presented a lot of circumstantial evidence. And if that is all they have, they are just blowing smoke and are done. But...IF they produce hard evidence - like showing more votes were cast then there are registered voters, that will be harder to refute.

But in all honesty I think the only way they will be able to prove massive fraud will be to find the “smoking gun” in the software. Which, likely has already been cleaned up.

If they can find two vote spikes in different states that changed by the exact same ratios the could probably produce an algorithm that was used in both counties or in multiple states. Of course that would mean the hacks are pretty stupid.

I’ve heard one argument that the machines throughput was much smaller than the vote spikes. Not sure of the mechanics of vote counting but presumably x number of mashies can count up to xy votes per minute. But if the real-time bot tally jump exceeds xy per hour then something is amiss. Suggest something - maybe a thumb drive or activated algorithm - was used in real-time to pad the vote.

Not “arguing” for or against them just considering plausibility.

One good thing, win or lose, this will highlight the vulnerability of the Dominion voting machines. Whether they can prove it happen is secondary to COULD it happen. If they can prove it is possible then it needs to be fixed so it can’t happen. If they can prove it did happen...Katie bar the door! If it is proven it can not happen, I will eat my hat on the courthouse square!

I say this because I know enough about computers and software to never make claims about what can and cannot be done. I once had one of my engineers tell me he saw another employee surfing porn at work. I was obligated to report to HR. HR called the investigators who pulled the hard drive. They did a forensic analysis of the HD and even though he had tried to erase his tracks they found every site he had visited and how long he spent on each site, the number of keystrokes he made while at the sites and much more. He was subsequently fired. IOW, it’s not enough to “erase the hard drive”. Takes Bleachbit and/or a hammer! Just as Hillary.

So while Sidney and Rudy are ‘up and out’ rest assured the FBI and CIA are down and it digging deep. The CIA will look like fools if the campaign finds international voter fraud and they are clueless. That’s their freaking job! My guess is they are doing everything they can to find out if there is a smidgin of truth behind what Sidney is asserting. I don’t care if they are doing it to find the truth or CYA but I’m sure they are looking.

One thing for sure, IF they do prove fraud a whole lot of pundits and politicians - Dems and reps alike - will be look like fools a d will be eating their words.

Before the election Trump literally said if the were losing they would go in with their lawyers. Hand recount in Georgia resulted in... drumroll... no evidence of widespread fraud or voting machine rigging.

I wonder what will happen to the republican party after this, it's clear Trump has them all on a leash and they will believe anything he tells them, no matter how crazy. God forbid your own security chief calls the election what it is, "the most secure election in US history", don't parrot the narrative they invented and you're gone.

This is why the recounts and investigations need to proceed:

Numbers are surprisingly given the non-stop echo chamber in the media insisting ‘there is no evidence of fraud’. No one can credibly say there was no fraud. There are numerous documented cases of fraud and there have been a few arrests. They lose credibility when they say there was none. A true journalist would say, “while there have been many instances of fraud, so far no evidence of massive fraud has been presented but investigations are still on going.”

That remains my position.

Ironic that those on the left wanted the Mueller investigation to drag on for 3 years and the right wanted to shut it down. Now the foot is in the other shoe.

I could make a very compelling argument that #1 Ranked Alabama is going to roll over KY today like a Crimson Tide nevertheless I will watch the game and see what happens.

Here's the real problem. A huge part of the population will believe almost anything you feed them.

There isn't any institution people trust anymore. You don't trust the justice dept, the FBI......nobody !!

The supreme court nominees are so polarized, a huge chunk of the population doesn't even trust them.

Almost all the DC talking heads sound almost desperate for Trump to concede. I can think of at least 2 good reasons for him not to concede yet:

1. There remains a chance, slim though it may be, that the lawsuits will prevail and flip the election.

2. If he does intend to run in 2024 he will loose support of many of the 70% of republicans who think there was fraud. So he has to at least challenge the vote count. Even if he ends up losing he will be seen as having fought to the bitter end.


Ifin’ I was a political pundit I’d keep my powder dry. At least acknowledge he has a right to challenge and quit saying it is over. IF things do flip, they will look like fools. If things don’t flip they can claim they waited until all the evidence was in before deciding the case.

So in other words, keep up the lie no matter what they find.

That means every challenge and every allegation should be looked at and tried in court not on a TV talk show. To ignore all the allegations undermines our democracy.

The case is PA is about equal protection and is directed at the SCOTUS. In Philly they didn’t require ID and did not verify signatures whereas in other parts of the state they did. They never expected to win in PA at the district court level which is why their case is centered around equal protection. The SCOTUS would not take up a fraud case because that is a state issue.

Powell is waaay out on a limb. If she fails to deliver her career is over. She will lose her home and every penny she has with liable suits from Dominion and others. Dominion will almost have to sue to stay in business or their reputation is shot.

So if she is confident enough to risk her livelihood I’m willing to hear her out.

What message would we send to future or would-be fraudsters if we simply sweep the allegations under the rug?! “Just make sure your fraud is wide enough so that your opponents is forced to concede. Don’t worry about being caught. They won’t even investigate allegations of fraud!”

I will accept whatever happens. If Trump prevails in court I will accept. And if he loses than maybe there wasn’t widespread fraud or shame on them for being so incompetent or inept to failing to secure the election.

I think you are off. A server was apparently taken by US forces in Germany. There have been several criminal referrals made to the FBI and the DOJ is looking into various claims. In addition to this but under the radar there are various investigations on going at the state and local level. I would not be shocked to learn the CIA and DHS are doing their own investigations. They would be derelict in their duties if they were not. The last thing the CIA wants is to be upstaged by Sidney Powell.

Things like this can snowball. If people get nervous they have a self preservation instinct to turn States evidence for immunity. Sidney said some of her witnesses may require witnesses protection. This seems to indicate she has some higher-ups.

Just for the record. I don’t mean to disrespect anyone here. I enjoy politics and enjoy speculating and debating. I have no special insight. I just read a lot of news from both sides and try to keep an open mind. I just wish everyone would respect that we all have different opinion and they are just that, opinions. To me, it’s like reading a spy novel and you never know what changes a turn of the page will bring.

For 3 years we listened to the speculation that Trump was a Russian plant and Mueller would expose that. Turned out to be a big nothing burger. This might turn out to be the same but I’m withholding judgment until I hear/see all the evidence. In civil and criminal cases the prosecution always goes first. And in many cases, after you hear the prosecution’s we are ready to convict! But then the defense gets to make their case and you find out the defendant has an iron clad alibi. So good thing we heard both sides before handing down a verdict. So far we have heard allegations from Trump’s team and the defense is ready to call for an acquittal before the jury has seen the evidence.

From what Sidney is saying, this week we should see some of the evidence. I’m guessing we will see enough evidence so it’s not dismissed as a frivolous lawsuit.

This was on a right wing News site so I take it with a grain of salt. It will be up to a judge to decide after he has seen the numbers to decide if this warrants more investigation. Just watched interview of a Dominion rep. He sounded credible. So somebody is lying. The plot thickens....
