Subject: Introduction
Hello! My name is Candice and I have recently become very interested in Ironman racing. My friend just recently tried the IM in Lake Placid. She wasn't able to finish but it was inspiring nonetheless. I have already read several books on it and started my research which led me here. I will be signing up the 70.3 next year as soon as the registration opens. This year I am running 2 half marathons, the 3-day Susan G. Komen virtual, and will be doing the 4x4x48.

Welcome Candice!

We have free and paid training plans here - it's best to start with a plan as soon as possible so you can ramp up more gradually. Maybe train for a small community sprint triathlon this fall (sometimes they are put on by YMCAs or local race companies) and then work up from there.
