My personal best was a 19:59 min 3 mile in college. After that I took a bit of a break. When I got back into it, I trained for several years running a duathlon, some sprint triathlons, 10k, half marathon, and a full marathon. Those were mostly just for increasing endurance, getting myself in shape and having fun, I didn't train for speed at all.
Shortly after that I got married and had kids. Since then, I've just been going on runs sporadically, followed by nothing for months at a time.
Now I've decided to get back into training for races again, before I get too old. I'm on here to log workouts and meet others to help motivate.
