Subject: what am i going to do!
So now that lance has won and its all done for.... i feel like the last kid left at the party, even when the party is over and everyone went home! I loved waking up early before work to catch bits and pieces of the tour... but now i feel like i'm lost and confused and have no reason to wake up early. Couldnt they make the tour 4 weeks long, maybe 5?.... I'm just sad to see it go...

anyone feeling the same way?

I'm looking forward to the Triathlon in the Olympics. You American seem to have a pretty strong squad and should come away with some medals. Besides this IS a Triathlon board... isn't it ;-)

haha yeah! i think with all the focus on the TdF the past few weeks, the olympics were definatly pushed aside in my head.... mmmmmmmmmmmm olympics..... I think they should have scheduled them to start today! now i'll have to deal with my roomate watching the YANKEES until the olympics start!... argh...

Every year after watching the Tour, I ask that same question: "now what will I do?". I am not a sports watcher, preferring to actually participate than to watch but when it comes to the Tour, the reality of it is that I can only that. It is my treat every year and when it is over, I treasure the memory of it and pine away for next year's event. Every four years, however, the Olympics comes along to fill the void and IS THE YEAR! I will watch some selected events, including the triathlon and the marathon.
