Pre-race routine:

In the morning jetted out to the subway. Of course the R wasn't working so I had to take the F to Hoyt St and walk over to Dekalb to catch the R to Whitehall. Caught the 8:30 AM ferry to Staten Island and me it with 40 minutes to spare to race time. Barely had time to grab my t-shirt and race number, do a portapotty stop and do some light strides.
Event warmup:

Some light strides in the parking lot.
Run
  • 2h 00m 8s
  • 13.1 miles
  • 09m 10s  min/mile
Comments:

Had some knee pain. This course was pretty hilly, and since I wasn't familiar with the course I was cautious how fast I was going.
The times are a little off from the official time since I started late on my watch.

1/2 - 16:36 -- 8:18
3 - 9:24
4 - 8:48
5 - 10:05
6 - 8:34
7 - 8:27
8 - 10:28
9/10 - 18:29 -- 9:14
11 - 9:18
12 - 9:35
13/.1 - 9:24
What would you do differently?:

Get a different knee brace. The knee brace definitely helped, but it was too tight on my calf and it caused it to tighten up. I rate this race as average because of those damn 8 seconds.

Post race
Warm down:

Some light strides, gatorade, and a bagel.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My knee again.

Event comments:

8 Seconds! :(

Great time Jen. In case it helps any, you are lucky to be able to do a race, unlike my cancellation.............NAH! that would'nt help me either.
