Do you think they will want to take a chance on the semi-tainted Basso image?  Maybe they should pick up the Keiser as well?

I don't think Basso is any more tainted than any other top rider. Remember, the doping rumors followed Lance (and still continue to do so) his entire career. 

Egos would be a major issue.  Bruyneel's stategy worked too (for seven straight years).  Everybody knew what he was going to do and still couldn't do anything about it.  That says as much for the support riders on the team as it does for the lead.

Is the reason Bruyneel didn't try that this year because he didn't have the lead or didn't have the team?
