Good overall swim. Not to much contact in the water. Swam straight at the bouys and rounded them tightly.

Man it's great to have strippers

Must get faster on the bike. It is the one thing that really slows my time down. Felt solid the whole time but got passed alot.
What would you do differently?:

Become a faster cyclist!

Comments:

Felt great at the start of the run. I've never felt that good at the start of a running leg of a tri.
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

lack of speed on the bike.

Event comments:

My goal was to come in under six hours, so I'm glad I made that. This was one of the most enjoyable races I've been in. I was worried that he distance would be a problem but I felt strong the entire race. Maybe I could have gone a little faster but for my first race of this distance I didn't know what to expect. Also saw some of the AZ Tri Club Guys which was cool. The day could not have been better, I don't know how we got so lucky but it was overcast all day long which really kept the temperature down. Overall great race and experience.
