(i didn't blow off my long run yesterday...in fact, i added a few miles, and was trying to think of each bt'er with each footfall...knowing that they were out there running at the same time...run, jim, run, sue, run, ken, run, joel, run, janelle, etc. helped me move along with a smile anyway...and maybe some of those positive thoughts floated down to florida).

Hey, guys - thanks for watching and rooting for us.  It is a great feeling to know that we had so much support.  I didn't realize another BTer was right ahead of us.  

Frank was behind us by about 5 minutes.  We saw him on the run course and didn't think he would make the cut off.  We gave him words of encouragement and headed on, and I guess he had a good spark left in him cuz he made it with a few minutes to spare.  What an incredible guy!

It was a great day and glad to see all the BTers did well.  Thanks again

Add anohter BTer to the list. Jay Reale (TriBodyboarder) is also at IMFL as Bib #1331. His swim time is 1:20:11 and his T1 time was 12:59. Incidentally, this is Jay's first IM and he is also doing the 70.3 championships next weekend!


Thanks for the mention! Haven't posted on BT for a long time, but this site really got me started!!! You guys rock! Here I come Clearwater!

That's so funny...the bucket hat was a huge hit out on the run course. I cna't even remember how many "great hat" comments I got. But the funniest thing by far all day was right after this girl said "great hat", this guy running next to me said "it *is* a great hat. The Girls love it, and this boy really loves it. You've got it goin' on!" in a really effeminate voice. I've never laughed so hard in a race.

And thanks everyone. The race report will come soon, but first I need to respond to all of the PMs and inspires first. After Thursday, the wireless in my hotel room crapped out. So I have a lot of catching up to do.

BT rules. Seriously. I was so happy to be sporting my BT jersey on the run. It was awesome!
