Comments:

The past couple days I have been nursing a cold so my aspirations of really pushing this run like I wanted to had waned. My goal today was just to run on a sunny day with friends and do what I could. The first couple miles I was able to keep up a pace around 8 m/m but after that i got winded and lots of negative thoughts began to filter in. Pace slowed down quite a bit while I watched isis pull away doing a smoking pace!
Post race
Warm down:

hung out and chatted with patty and joanne post race. Joanne ended up getting 2nd in ag!!!!! woop!!!! so that was cool.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

simple fall cold.

Event comments:

race was for a scholarship group. pretty course, well organized with friendly volunteers.

Good for you for getting out there, Glen. Nice pace, especially given your cold.

Wish I could have joined you... Next time!

Nice run Glen!

Too bad about the cold. There is an awful lot of stuff going around and half of the BTers I know-myself included- have been battling one nasty bug or another.

Good that you got out there and made the best of it.

Nice race especially considering you fell victim to the bug that seems to be going around right now.
