Ok, here is the medal I got today.  I don't have a clue as to why there is a chicken as their mascot, but I just laugh every time I look at it.

The BRB marathon was started by something called "The Running Chicken Track Club." I have medals from BRB 2001-2004, last year they moved it from November to December where it conflicts with my marathons and/or the local Cajun Country Half marathon. BRB is a good little race, the double loop full gets a little dull, especially after 70% of the runners drop out at the half.

The finisher's medal from River Cities Triathlon this year was a big peace symbol medallion, due to the race's 60s theme. That dirty hippie Jim would have loved it.
