I have been way too snobby and needed to be a UPS lady to remind me how much I have taken for granted.  But I was impressed at what a consistently absolute GO GETTER I am, whether when I was a broker in training at Smith Barney, or a driver's helper at UPS....I worked just as hard at both.

There, now I have to go turn in my brown uniforms....wah.

I hear ya on that note. I was humbled when I worked at my health club in the child care babysitting. I know most people thought I was an uneducated mom with no other options for employment. There were some days I wanted to say "Look lady, don't talk down to me. I have an education!" I've worked waaaay harder as a stay at home mom than in any research job I've had in the past. Though my current job working with autistic kids is quite challenging! No matter what...it's all hard work.

Yes...I'm humbled and yes I've taken a lot for granted. I try not to do that any more.

And I KNEW those darned "up" arrows were useless!Wink

1) You need to put that pic in the what men want for Christmas thread.  Its smoking hot.

2) cool oberservations and all very believable and true.

3) Between college and finding a full time job, I paid the bills unloading trucks for Roadway Package System at a hub near Harrisburg, PA from midnight to 4 am.  It was one of the hardest, most physical jobs I've ever had in my life.  After day 1, I could barely bend over.  After day 30, I was in the best shape of my life ever.  To this day, I miss that job.  You just never know if you'd get the truck with embalming fluid leaking out over the sides, or the panty truck until the back door was opened up.

One of the many jobs I had talked about having before was.....U.P.S. loading trucks. Unfortunately I never got one of those bitchin cool uniforms. Probably just as well, no way I could have did it the justice you did. I also remember it as being one of the toughest summer jobs I ever had.

Thanks, Jeff.  I'll take smoking hot any day of the week.  I did post other pics on that thread....I just pull from my "random hot photos of self" file.  Which is also for sale for $199.99! Just in time for x-mas.

I'd be willing to bet that if there were any that did, it wasn't a pretty sight.
