I have been saying 4:45 but I don't know. Some days it seems realistic, others I just am not feeling it. I am taking this week easier than I had planned just to try to feel fresh but we will see. It has been hot the last week. I race awesome in the heat but don't train for sh** in it.

My only other HIM was 6:44. Pretty much anything that could go wrong did go wrong. On a perfect day, I think I could hit 6. That's the time I will shoot for. I will try not to blow myself up on the bike.

Actually, if I could just improve my swim and bike times, I'd be happy. I've run about 60 - 70 miles since the end of April. If my run time goes to hell, I'll understand. I ran 2:06 in IMCA. Oh, and my transitions sucked. I'll be looking to improve there. Of course after throwing up in the ocean, I guess I wanted to take my time. I just have to remember that it's a race and not to half my way through transitions. I think that goes with my lack of exp. in tris.

Thanks!  I saw Heather Fuhr and Paula Newby-Fraser up close at packet pickup.  A good omen.  I'll take whatever the day gives me.
