Only 4 more days!!! Anyone one else here doing the Seattle Danskin? Have fun! Thanks to all the helpful people here at BT for all the tips, encouragement, odes, and good humor. One of the best things about becoming a triathlete this summer was finding this site.

Jasmine,

If I am aware enough during transitions, I'll look for you....By the way, you are doing awesome on your OCRV goal, you've passed it, you are doing your mom proud!

Thanks! :-) I'm trying!

I'll be the 1/2 awake blonde girl who had to be there before you ladies! I'll be cheering so darn loud, you couldn't possibly NOT hear me! :-) Again, good luck and kick some butt!

Just got back from the Danskin, wow those women were amazing. I volunteered due to the fact the race was closed back in April!! But I worked in the transition area with my friend (syoshida to you all)...basically we were big cheerleaders. I met up with Michele by chance (zagagirl), my first BT-er! :-) She looked great with her medal draped around her neck! I was wowed by the internal strength and positive attitude of all the women competing. I saw 70 year old women who could barely walk finishing this race. It was a very powerful moment.

Congratulations to all who competed!! I'm glad I could share this experience with you ladies!
