Run
Comments: Really felt great. Pushed it and left it all on the course. Maybe start out a bit faster - too conservative at the start, perhaps, although I was tuckered out at the finish and had no push/sprint. Mile - Pace - HR 8'16" 166 8'33" 175 9'03" 177 8'40" 176 9'01" 179 8'49 179 What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Walked around, grabbed an apple, and back to the finish line to watch John and Lisa cross. Lisa did extremely well in this race, beating her time goal by a lot. Fantastic! What limited your ability to perform faster: Still room to improve with more and better training at speed and distance. I can get faster with more running. Event comments: Lisa and I had great runs at the well organized fun event. This was a PB for both of us, and longest Lisa has ever run. She went the whole way without walking. John Morrow met us there. He was my "rabbit" for the first couple miles, then he crapped out (slowed down, but finished not long after me), in his Vineman shirt. Ha. He is a great guy and we had fun chatting with him afterwards. He's just getting back into it. Notes: We had a really great time, dropped the kids at mom's at 6:30 a.m., and picked them up at 9:30. Then went back out the Mahoney park and had a nice day with Mark and Deb and the girls. Kinda nervous, and going inside to go to the bathroom several times while not really even having to go that much. Just excited, I guess.
A little jog round, but very little, really.
