I'll run, too, but my pace is a little faster than that.  Bikes will probably remain hanging until things get less nasty around here.

I will be running at 10am - pretty much regardless of the weather (no slush or twisters please). I am planning on doing 15K - not too sure about the pace. I am planning on leaving from the Radio Shack cul de sac and heading south west. An out and back. Afterwards, I may ride. I am a bit more picky on weather conditions when riding as I don't have foul weather gear for the bicycle.

Looks like we're probably out for this one.  We'll have to try again.

Have a good run and I hope it doesn't rain too much on Saturday.

Ok. So I am going to retract my earlier statement.

As most everyone is saying "no" to the miserable weather weekend, I think I will take my run in doors (coupled with yoga at 11AM, and a swim thereafter).

The good thing about all of this is the outstanding responses we have been getting to these group gatherings. Lets not loose interest in getting together for group workouts.

be safe Kirk....I myself will be 'soccering'....well said though.  keep the interest up.  Also remember, there is also the Benbrook 1/2 coming up---I think on the 27th...  Will check the Luke's calendar.

I agree.  I love the face that there are so many people who want to do this.  As those of you who know me know...I am a total cold weather weenie.  I, like everyone else will be hitting the gym many times this weekend.  Spring will be here soon right??

So I went to the website that you listed for the Benbrook Half mary, but I don't see any link to register for it. Do you just call that number? Any info would be appreciated. I have a 12 -13 mile run scheduled for next weekend and that would fit perfect. Anyone else interested in doing it? I am SURE the weather will be much better next weekend, I mean come on, this is TEXAS!!

Have any of you done the half out there? I searched the race reports and didn't find any. I see that it is an out and back...and it says 'hilly'... How hilly is hilly ? I have never been to this area..so I have no idea.

Thanks....
Kenny

best I can describe it is 'rolling.  I have done both the 1/2 and 5K in years past.  They don't seem like much, but the hills are there.  You will definitely notice 'the big hill.   Enjoy!!
