Subject: Anti-fog

Hello there,

Has anybody used Speedo's anti-fog spray? Is it any good? Would it last the entire IM swim? It is expensive and I do not want to buy it if it does not work. I remember using it many years ago and I was not too impressed - just wondering if it has improved in the mean time...

Otherwise, any other anti-fog ideas?

Jana

I've used it.  I don't any longer.  I found after repeated use it built up a film on my goggle lenses that clouded my vision .  Now, I just use spit and that works fine.

Anti fog is an urban myth.

Works great for me. Lasted through a whole IM swim for me. I agree it's a tad expensive, I only use it when I race or train in OW but in the pool, I just use some spit since if it fogs up a little, I can still see the pool lane.

I spit in mine, rub it around, then rinse with lake water. Works better than the fancy anti-fog stuff; it never really worked for me.

Spit works best for me.  Spit and rinse.

My tongue is the best anti fog around....(that sounds perv'ish)

Just lick your lenses a few times...

I rub a drop of baby shampoo around each lens then rinse off the extra.  Works great for me.  I don't seem to have anti-fog spit.
