Total Time = 39m 1s
Overall Rank = 76/163
Age Group = 30-39
Age Group Rank = 11/21
Event warmup:

5 minutes of easy running with pick ups. Then almost was late for the start so I had another little pick up running down to the RMC arch :)

Comments:

I took 2 days off prior to this because I was sore/stiff and I guess it paid off. I ran fast for me. My running buddy and I were egging each other on, so that helped. I outsprinted her at the end, but she was only 3 seconds behind! We rock!
This race was VERY competitive. The winners were doing 8k/5miles in 27:30. I felt good just to be out there with the SERIOUS runners, even though my age group place wasn't so hot
What would you do differently?:

Nothing...I'm a triathlete, not a runner
