A little info:

I have pretty sensitive, dry eyes and wear hard contacts (except when swimming and racing I wear soft then). So sunglasses are a part of my life. I wear my sunglasses from dusk to dawn, in the rain, and any other time i am outside. I usually wear amber lenses, I think those are the most versatile in all light conditions. I have 2 pair of oakley minute sunglasses.

Unfortunately, I have lost my latest pair of oakleys (I had them for about 5 yrs). I need new sunglasses. I am not opposed to something other than oakley's but I have no clues. Any ideas????

help, thanks

Shortyy

I have three pair of Spy Scoop and Spy Micro-Scoop glasses.  They do offer multiple lens choices and hold up fairly well to athletics.

I prefer the Nike sunglasses. All the ones I get, at my office, have two sets of lenses. My favorite have the amber lenses and brown polarized lenses. The price is much more reasonable than Oakley.

I wear glasses but can't wear contacts.

I don't know if it interests you but I really like my Rudy Project perscription sun glasses. They have many styles(both perscritpion and non) and are reasonably priced.

For swimming I have perscription goggles from aquagoggles.com. They cost less than $25 and I really like them as well.

I have a pair of Rudy Project Graals - I believe they look relatively similar to the Half Jackets, are extremely comfortable and tri-specific.

I really like my Rudy Project Rydons.  Rudys (at least my pair) have the less-common feature of having an adjustable nose bridge, with allowed them to fit my face better.  I couldn't find that on many of the other major manufacturers.  I find I get less wind under/around the edges with Rudys because of the better fit..

Let me throw in my hat for Tifossi Optics. Santa brought me a pair of the Q3, and they are pretty good...for $50, they are even better. I just stopped using a pair of Smith Frontline Max that I got for about $45, they were good too, but I wore them out...

Just got a pair of Tifosi Envy's. 3 lenses, and pretty nice for my small face at about $50. Made in Georgia, so I'm supporting a local biz too.

I just got a pair of Oakley Half Jackets (XLJ lens) and they're great - really light weight and they fit wonderfully!

i received a pair of maui jims (can't remember model name)for christmas in the amber flavor and they are awesome, look feminine and are good in any light conditions, and they are polarized, which makes eveything look crystal clear. come out to the run feb 3rd at the poto and i'll show them to ya, i also have oakley half jackets, work pretty well, but look pretty funny on me, i guess i have a pea sized head

When you get up in the morning and the light is hurt your head
The first thing you do when you get up out of bed
Is hit that street a-runnin' and try to meet the masses
And go get yourself some cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

Spied a little thing and I followed her all night
In a funky fine levis and her sweater's kind of tight
She had a west coast strut that was sweet as molases
But what really knocked me out was her cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

Now go out and get yourself some thick black frames
With the glass so dark thay won't even know your name
And the choice is up to you cause they come in two classes
Rhinestone shades and cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

ZZ Top recommends cheap sunglasses and that is good enough for me.

Another vote for Tifosi

I have the Slip: 4 interchangeable vented lenses, never fog, stay put, and fit my smaller face well.
