Pre-race routine:

White-knuckle driving to the race. There was a pick up truck behind me that looked like a ping pong ball zig zagging all over the place. Trecherous driving.
Event warmup:

Ran around getting all my stuff in the pouring snow and freezing snow

Comments:

This was a tough race for me. All uphill mostly and the windy, snowy conditions didn't help. I had wanted to finish in an hour but I had to walk up a couple of hills. But I pretty much ran the whole way, a lot good that did me. God I hate that I suck so much at running.
What would you do differently?:

Run more.

Sorry we missed you after the race, but it's totally understandable. Nice run!

That's AWESOME!  I love the pic!  Hard core all the way.  Makes me feel guilty if I pass on an outdoor run on a "chilly" NC day.

NICE JOB!

Wow ... you are a real trooper for driving so far to run in a blizzard ... great run or walk or whatever it was we did out there to survive!  I wanted to stick around and meet the BT crowd but I was bone chilling cold after the run and decided I needed to get home and warm up.  Great job today ...

What a picture there O!  Looks mighty cold.  Way to brave it and make it home safely.  Congrats.

Nice job Ovetta!!  Great run - you are a hearty soul for even making the drive up from the Springs!  And you got a great pic out of the deal too   Glad you made it - remember what doesn't kill you makes you stronger - right?!
