Date changing for IMAZ

Member  19 |  Subject: Date changing for IMAZHi everyone. I have heard a couple times the date for IMAZ will be changing from April to November. The date for 2007 will not change, but, 2008 may be changed to November. What I've heard is, 2007 will have a IM in April & November. Then, in the future all race dates will be in November. Have any of you heard this rumor? |

Champion 9600  Fountain Hills, AZ | Subject: RE: Date changing for IMAZ This has been kicking around for a while now. I think they are trying to open the race up to more people in the nothern half of the country. IMAZ takes momths to sell out because people up north can't train for an April IM in the heat, so moving the date would increase it's popularity. |

Member 19 | Subject: RE: Date changing for IMAZ I emailed the directors of Ironman organization. I asked if the date would be changing to November. The email response, verbatim,......."not at this time" |
