Veteran  157   Scotch Plains, NJ |  Subject: That's what I fiigured...The guy is in NY and I am in NJ, so I will actually be able to go see it and ride it. I am 6 ft tall, but my 58 sometimes feels too big. I am the one who was whining about the aerobars the other day.....turns out you can't raise the handlebars! Dammit. I am going to try moving the seat forward a bit tonight before I get on the trainer and see where that gets me.... |

| over a barrier | Subject: RE: That's what I fiigured... The handle pairs can be raised by adding a different stem...I just went through that process. It was a $40 dollar part. I took my bike to the LBS and they took care of it after we did my fitting they put a stem on that raised up the bars 6cm. |

Well.....pre ironman it was animated and was running, but he's been a little tired since then. So now he just hovers in the air. (after I added the m-dot around its neck I couldn't re-animate it)

(a) they flipped my stem (the part between the fork and the handlebars, right) so it angled "up" instead of down on my road bike to get me the sizing I needed. Didn't need a new stem, cost $0. (b) OK, how in the blankety blank did you know that was an alpaca? oipolloi, didn't we have a big thread on what that was last year, and nobody figured it out? |
