I'd like to share a house with folks out their if anyone is looking to fill a room. I might be on my own or have my wife along. I'd like to get there on Thursday and stay through Monday. Any interest? Thanks.

Do you have a house or are you looking for a house?

Right now I am in a hotel, but I might willing to move to a house if you have one and want to share the costs.  Similar to you, it will either be me alone or my girlfriend might be staying with me.

I rented a couple of rooms at the RedLion in Post Falls, but am looking into renting a house from 6/20-6/26.

If I can only find extra large homes, I might be interested in sharing the house rental.  I'm still trying to nail down my headcount, but at the moment it looks like 4 people (wife, daughter, brother and myself).

I have made several inquiries this week and hope to find something soon...

I don't have a house, but I'd like to get into one. If I find one, I'll let you know.

I sent both of you guys a PM.

I have a couple of houses that I'm thinking about renting and would like to find some others to share the house/cast.

Hey House Lookers-

Try the CDA Chamber of Commerce at 208-664-3194.  They organize all of the volunteers for the race as well as keep a list of locals who like to rent out their houses for race week.  In order for the chamber to keep the listing the house has to be near the course so it is a benefit.  If you have ??'s about any houses you see, send me a PM and I will get back to you.  I live here in CDA and can make sure you know approx where you will be in relation to the IM village.  I also am real familiar with the bike course change!  I did IMCDA last year and this bike course will be way better!

I had a couple of houses I was looking at, and found out that none of them have A/C.  Sounds like it isn't normally an issue up there, but was unseasonably hot last year...

I'm still making inquiries and and will call the Chamber of Commerce tomorrow.

How is the drive in from Post Falls, or Hayden lake?

The drive from Post Falls or Hayden is not 15-20 minutes either way.  As far as AC goes I can tell you this.....For the past 4 years of IMCDA, the race seems to take place on the hottest day of the year to that point in the year.  When I got off the bike last year the temp was 97!!  You can survive without AC, but it is a bonus if you get it.

I stayed at the Casino/hotel that was 25 miles south of CDA.  Nice place, good buffet.  The drive in wasn't bad even though they were working on widening the road.  Should be done by summer.

Watch out for big wildlife on the road in the early morning.
