Comments: First mile was the warmup. Once my HR got going, it was smooth sailing. What would you do differently?: Nada Transition 1
Comments: No splits for the transitions, but by my watch I was about 1:30. Bike
Comments: I'm guessing that my August schedule took something away from my bike. My 10-day vacation left me with only two rides for the month of August before this race, so I think I dropped some strength. What would you do differently?: Skip vacation? No chance in hell!! Transition 2

Comments: Started to lose a little steam in mile 4, and continue to feel a shoulder cramp only during heavy exertion during races. Post race

Had a big breakfast at 4:15 a.m.. Oat/nut cereal with yogurt, banana and two slices of toast. Drank one 12 ounce bottle of Accelerade on way to race.
Ran 1 mile, biked 2 miles, stretched
