Does anyone know if Buffalo Springs sells out, or are you usually able to register up until the last few weeks.  I am holding off on it, making sure that I can get my swim up to par for it.

I've raced BSLT the last two years.  I don't think it sold out the last two years.  You could email the race director or post the question on the BSLT website forum.

A buddy of mine registered the day before last year. Not sure how that will play out this season. It's a great race though. I'm going back again this year.

It usually doesn't sell out.  However, with last year's star studded pro field showing up.  It might have more appeal this year.  Still, you can wait till April without too much worry.  Keep checking the BSLT forum on the race site.  Marty Greer does a great job of keeping everyone informed.

Haven't raced but I am this year, already registered to save a few bucks. A friend of mine registered a few days before the race last year. as others have stated just check the site.

Thanks for the replies.  Hopefully I'll be up for the swim by then. Or at least be able to drown with style.

Don't be silly, the swim is the easy part of this race

Yeah.  The swim's the easy part (except for the running beach start and the narrow outlet to the open lake and the right turn into the sun all before the first bouy).  It's the bike and the run you need to worry about and the hills and the heat and the wind and the sun. Laughing
