Subject: The Little Engine that could....
Hi all!

Just a "rookie" here. Did a tri last year, and will finally thrust myself into a full season this year. I have 3 planned so far. This board is really great, lots of great advice from up and down, left and right.

Took the advice from most of the posters here to ride up grades instead of buy upgrades. So instead of saving up for months, I've decided on a Trek 1000. My Little Engine that could...

First remove all reflectors and other useless safety devices. You really won't
use the brakes anyway.
