The relay for the 3x3.3M and the 10 milers started out at the same time. I started out running trying to keep up but then I realized hey why am I running so fast..they only got 3.3 to go I got 10. Dude! This lady pushed me! I wanted to push her back but lucky I decided to focus on the race. :) There were two water stops on the loop. I had to stop each time for water. I'm sure if I didn't have to stop as often my times would have been better. Just the air was so dry and I was freezing the whole time. What would you do differently?: Not run out too hard the first mile. Also, I wouldn't have been so lazy this week and actually run some more. Post race
Warm down: Got a bottle of water and walked back home. :) Yeah! I walked home! Jealous?!? Went home, ate the bagel J got me, took a nap, and headed out to Chinatown to grab some grub with my mom. What limited your ability to perform faster: The cold. Event comments: A nice fun local race run by one of Brooklyn's Road Runner clubs. Last updated: 2007-01-17 12:00 AM

Hmm..from anyone who reads my reports I have no routine. :P You'd think by now I'd have some type of routine considering I've been racing for like 10+ years.
Picked up my race number from my running store and got a sweet Brooks long sleeve technical tee in an EXTRA SMALL! Its tough getting a small..let alone an extra small.
This race was on my home turf so I didn't have to wake up early at all! (It was at Propect Park which is about 3 blocks away) :) Gun time was at 10AM. The bf came home from work at like 9:15...he woke me up at 9:30AM. Packed two Gus, decided try them out since the Powergels were giving me stomach problems, my Nano, drank some water and I was out the door by 9:40AM running to the start. I didn't even have to bring a bag.
I'm kindda pissed about my race belt. I lost one of the buttons for the race belt in the portapotty from the Bronx Half last Sunday. It decided to pop off when I was trying to manuever myself around in the tiny 2x2 space. I decided it be wise not to be reaching around anywhere in the portapotty. ;) So I had to use good ol' safety pins.
Did a warmup run from my apartment to the start. Had a hard time warming up. It wasn't as icy as I thought and the road was completely clear of ice in the park which I was happy about.
