Any idea how long the season is for a full wet suit in Jacksonville. I want to start my ocean swims but the H2O is pretty chilly right and I am wondering how long I will be able to use a $250 investment.

Fl 70.3 is sooooo close!

I can only think of one tri, the 1st BFAST last year in May the week before the Disney HIM, that was wetsuit legal. In previous years, it was not wetsuit legal nor any of the other races I am aware of although, I've never done the series at Hannah Park.

Still a good investment though, if you ever want to race in cooler climates or in Clermont since the Mar/April races there are wetsuit legal.

I found this website with average temps - http://www.filminflorida.com/lr/facts-temps.asp(it has links for current temps)

Looks like Nov thru April is pretty chilly. Enough for a full suit tho? That was my question . . .
