As usual, the slow run, I have one speed...SLOW! You would think after all the training I do I could post a better run time. I don't know why I can't run faster but at this point that's just the way it is.

This is one of my favorite events. Now on to IMAZ where I'm certain it will be a slow marathon.

Hey Peter,

Had a great time talking today and dodging people in the first part of the run.    I felt like the human pinball for a while there. 

I don't think you had a slow run, especially when you think that a pace like yours today is often a near-AG winning pace in an Ironman.  Think about it...you run, no matter how slowly, instead of walk and you're already up perhaps 50% of the field. 

I couldn't manage even that at the FL Challenge last year.  Today I felt like I was flirting with a calf injury if I'd run even another mile..I just haven't put in the miles on the road. 

You had a fast half time last year.  You've put in the time and miles to be a diesel next month, which is what you need to be, not a Ferrari that runs outta gas in 6 miles.
