Comments: I ran fairly well. This is a post-surgury best time, only 75 seconds off my all-time best time of 24:33, and about a minutes improvement over last months 5K. I kept my mile spilts pretty even and pushed at the end. I still think I can push a little harder. What would you do differently?: I rode 3 hours yesterday. Debated whether I should do it, but I really wanted to get the ride in so my legs were a little heavy. I don't think it had too much of an effect. I just need to keep losing weight. 1 second per mile per pound. Ten more pounds is another 30 seconds off my 5K time. Post race
Warm down: Said hellos, found Chris and he was moody so we bolted. Kind of bummed we didn't hang around. I came in 3rd in the Athena catagory and didn't get to pick up my awward. I love crap for my office so it bums me out just a little. What limited your ability to perform faster: The weight. Totally in my control though, which is a good thing.
