Subject: Is this a good bike deal?
A friend of a friend is selling his bike

Below are the details ...please let me know what you think

Felt B2 56cm time trial/tri frame, 2006 model with carbon aero post
Reynolds Ouzo Pro aero carbon fork:
- Vision aero bars (size S) and aero brake levers
- Shimano Dura-Ace 10 speed crankset (172.5)
& chainrings (53,39), chain, cassette (11-23),
front & rear derailleurs, brakes, bar-end shifters
- Velo saddle
- No wheels or pedals (DA pedals available)
- One season of use in races and some training, one
season of use in training. Less than 800mi.
No dents, very minimal signs of wear. Excellent shape.

Asking $1800 Cash

I've bought a B2, 2006 as well, same bike you are asking about without pedals, for $3400 new last year. 

However...mine came with the zipp 404's ($2000), so if you subtract the cost of the wheelset, you're basically paying more than full retail for a used frame.  Based on that, I don't think it's a great deal. 

Edit:  Don't get me wrong.  It's a sweet ride.

hmm ...i guess iwas off w/ my research ...i thought the retail for a b2 w/ 404's was over 4k and with eastons about 3200 or so

Retail probably is...reality isn't.  Now that there's a 2007 B2 that's a soooper hot new model, if you can still find a 2006, they're going to relatively inexpensive.  That's how I got mine.

2006 B2 with 404 zipps. I almost bought this bike just because of the Zipps. But for this price I wanted a carbon bike.
