Pre-race routine:

left my house at 11:50
got to MTO ISI my building at 12:15. Meet up with 2 other associates that were running the race. In total there were 5 of us from ISI doing this race. We all had green 'ISI' hats and White shirts which had St Pattys day patches and Pots of Gold on them.
Event warmup:

Checked in, stretch and small jog to warm up.

Comments:

first 4 mins I was holding back and getting use to the conditions and wind. Plus figured that the nerves were going to overtake my High Heartrate, so I did not want to go out hard. At the 1 mile break I was feeling really good! at the Turnaround they yelled 11:56, I thought I was fast, but did not change pace. Last mile was into the wind and it was tough. Took a little extra effort to get to the finish.
Post race
Warm down:

walked back to cheer on the other 4 runners. Got my jacket from a Tree, changed my hat, and went back to the Tents to get bagel, banana, and water bottle.
