Run
Comments: I was a bit disappointed in this run, although, I wasn't expecting much better. I would have like to have been sub-30 minute but, given the fact that I raced yesterday, I was happy with the run I had. I kicked it hard the last bit (probably from the 3-mile mark to finish) and paid for it with a cramped quad at the finish line. Not a bad run overall. Tim (1st Timer in NY) and I took turns pacing each other. What would you do differently?: Not race a 5K the day before :) Post race
Warm down: - cheered on some more runners - walked around for 5-minutes - stretched for 5-minutes What limited your ability to perform faster: - running a race the day before - not hydrating or stretching enough the day before - losing an extra 20-30lbs would probably help too :) Event comments: The organization and more thorough attention to detail made this race much better than the one the day before. In hindsight, the St. Patty's Day race was a bit more disorganized than I realized. This race was great. Nice job Tim! Last updated: 2007-02-25 12:00 AM
