Pre-race routine:

Night before pump up all the tires and get bike racks ready and put everything except for the bikes in the car. Morning of, get up early, dress, eat a bit, get kids up, load bikes, go.

Event comments:

This wasn't a race, but a fun ride. We turned it into a family event as our 8 y.o. daughter rode all 20 (her idea to push for it), while I towed the 5 y.o. on the trail-a-bike with the 1 y.o. in the Burley trailer behind her. We were quite the train.
