Comments: Got a cramp after mile 1, probably because I havent had enough fluids this week. I persisted and it went away. Breathing was more of an issue than legs, which is good considering last 10K was the oppositte. What would you do differently?: Better week before prep. More sleep, no alcohol consumption, and better hydration. Post race

Drink fluids night before heavily. Did not get enough sleep. Eat bagel and banana 2 hrs before race.
Go on warmup 10-12 min 30 min before race, stretch for 10 min, then strip layers and go to starting line. Do some strides, high knees, and butt kicks, then take deep breaths before the start.
