Pre-race routine:

Nothing special, just got up and ate a normal breakfast, coffee, and got myself ready to go.
Event warmup:

None. Ryan and I ran together and used the first 4 miles of the run as a warmup.

Comments:

Good run for a workout. Rode about 4 hours yesterday, so I was just using this as a workout. Ryan and ran about 5 tempo miles with 1 mile recoveries, and all but the last one felt pretty good. Just started getting tired at the end.
What would you do differently?:

Not wear so much clothing, I was hotter than hell out there. Not sure what I was thinking, a t-shirt would have been plenty.
Post race
Warm down:

Food, beer, massage. Pretty much perfect.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Fatigue and desire. Just using this as a training day to see how it felt on tired legs after a long ride.

Event comments:

Good little early season training race to use as a tune up or just a nice training day. I would run this again in the future.

LOL, it's funny when it's 60 degrees and it feels HOT!  Great race, bummer that I never got to see you though!  You were probably in the massage tent

Funny, I was wondering how you were wearing that much stuff!   Great race anyway.  I can't wait to see you open it up!  When will that be?

I wouldn't even be able to walking after riding for 4 hours, let alone skip a half marathon. Nice job.
