Comments: The point of doing this race was just to go out and do a long run together, nice and easy, and that's what we did, for most of it anyway... We started out slowly and got into a good rhythm, and at about mile 10 I realized if I kept up my pace I might be able to break 2:15, so I kicked it up a notch. By that time Max was ahead of us but still in sight, and Rob started to pull away from me, and in the last 1/2 mile or so I just ran out of gas. I'm happy with my time, especially since I wasn't shooting for a new PR, the course was tough (lots of climbing), and we took it slow the first few miles. What would you do differently?: Train for this distance, train in the hills Post race
Warm down: Ate some food and said goodbye to the boys What limited your ability to perform faster: Not doing a run longer than 5 miles since Hyannis. Event comments: A real low-budget race, but there were mile-markers and food at the end so I can't really complain. Last updated: 2007-04-02 12:00 AM

Had Instant Breakfast and a bagel with pb for breakfast, drove to Westfield, got lost, called Rob, finally found the place, met up with Rob and Max, registered.
Some minor stretching and jogging, but mostly I just stood around and talked to Max and Rob.
