Comments:

Started out way too fast. Started running with the 7 min/mile guys at the beginning. Remembered to "run" the downhills, but they were at the beginning of the course. The hills were at the end. By that time i was beat and walked 3 times....what? Walk in a 5K? Please.......

What would you do differently?:

Practice and train more. I sucked at this one.

Warm down:

Stretched out and ran a lap around the field next door to the start. Should have stretched more and more thoroughly.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not prepared. Needed to train more even for a 5K.

Event comments:

Overall a well organized race. They could have had more drink stations but it's a 5k. Would have like to have this race on dirt trails rather than pavement pounding at your shins.
