Subject: Triathlete's Training Bible - differences in 2nd edition?
I bought The Triathlete's Training Bible before I did my first sprint tri last year and the book is absolutely great. Now the 2nd edition is out and I was wondering if anyone knows if there have been any major changes in the book. I live by the philosophy that the more you know the better of you are but I don't want to end up paying twice for the same book Thanks in advance for ANY replies.

I have only heard this, so I am not sure, but I guess that it is the basically the same.  It really depends on what you are looking for.  If you are looking for training routines, I have heard good things about Training Plans for Multisport Athletes.  I just ordered it from trisports.com, got my 15% off, plus it is shipping today, unlike Amazon which has it on back-order.

I browsed through the 2nd edition in a bookstore. It looks to me like the same book.

Coincidentally I just got the chance to do the same last night. It looks like the same book to me as well.

I believe the only difference between the two books are updated nutrition and weight training sections. I have the second edition.

Good to know. Maybe I'll just head on over to Barnes and Noble and get a cup of coffee then.
