Jogged 2.5 miles with the girls prior to the race. Shin hurt a little

Comments:

Felt fine. Ran with Lydia for the first mile and came across the first mile at about 6:46. Decided to pick it up and chase the leaders since they really weren't that far ahead of me. I caught the leaders at about 2.5 miles and won by about 30 seconds. Shin hurt entire time and is killin me. Was surprised I was about to run those last two miles around 5:30 pace since I have takin off so much time. Fun winning. Next year, definately want to do the 10 miler. Keep it up!
