It's 36 degrees outside, there's a 20 mph wind and there's a nasty mix of rain, sleet and snow falling. This can only mean one thing...

It's springtime Rochester!

And with spring comes the regular Tuesday evening Run-Bike-Run workouts put on by the Rochester Area Triathletes.  Believe it or not, they start next week on April 24. Details can be found here. These are great if you're looking to add a social component to your training or if you need an excuse to get out and do a brick.

The RATS are a great bunch of people and this is a great workout. It can be as intense as you like, but you don't have to race it. It's very beginner friendly. You'll find people with multiple Ironman finishes and folks who are just thinking about doing their first race.

Those sound like great workouts and I have heard that from a lot of people. Is there anyone out there that has work outs on weekday mornings??? Unfortunately I work from 3 -11 pm and most of the group workouts around here are in the evenings. That RATS website doesn't seem to get as much participation as this one does. This one is WAY BETTER!!!

In the summer, there's a group of people who get together weekday mornings around 7 at Canandaigua for open water swims.
