They never tell you until race day normally.  They won't make a final decision until you get there.  You can bet though, that if they're allowed on Saturday they'll be allowed on Sunday. And vice versa.  My suggestion would be to head out to the site on Saturday if you can make it, and survey the water.  See what's being allowed and not being allowed.  Talk to some race people, they'll be able to help.

thanks for the info, will be out there tomorrow to pick up my packet so will check then.

 

In another note am going for a short ride on the suncoast trail this evening with my friend Matt, probably around 6:30 or so if anyone else wants to join.

Injury that makes you unable to float.....sounds suspicious to me.  What did you do?  Fall off of a bridge in an adventure race?

I may give the RD a call to let him know to be watching for you.  You probably use an asthma inhaler to get a significant advantage on the run as well.  I have heard of your type!

Well I could go with plan B, didn't want to spoil the surprise for you but since we are in the same age group I could just hold onto your legs and let you pull me to the end, actually i think that may be better than anything else.
