Not a race - so no rankings.... A great ride, though, with about 5 other friends.
Post race
Warm down:

Wrestling my bike back into the pickup - then a bottle of chocolate milk for recovery - then two coronas.

Event comments:

Only a couple of issues - it was supposed to rain all day, so I packed lots of clothes - none of which were needed. It rained for about 15 minutes, then the sun came out.

Only other issue was my speedplay pedals - I've had them two years with zero problems - I think walking through the mud today messed them up, and I had real issues getting clipped in and out. Finally figured out that if I walked through the water puddles, I could get in and out OK. I need to work on that - a real challenge at the stoplights....

Big improvement over last year - Last year I had to walk 3 times on the uphill of Cherokee Road - this year NO WALKING!!! Cut about 16 minutes off my overall time this year.

Great job Dennis!  I was wondering how the weather was after your prior post about rainy century rides.  Sounds like it worked out just fine.  So cool about doing better than last year too!  That is awesome!

I hope the chocolate milk and the corona's weren't one right after the other.  Both sound good, but not together.  LOL!!!!!

Yes, as usual I got all worked up about the weather and then "poof", the sun came out.  But at least now I am prepared for the race when we get dumped on!!
