Holy crap..I just signed up for the International Legnth!  I have only just started racing this year and so far I have only done sprints.  I know its months away, but already I have butterflies in my belly!

You'll be fine!  You have plenty of time to train.  This is a nice flat course and it's SOOOOOO much fun.  You'll have a blast!  I'm so excited to do this race again this year, it was so much fun last year.

As the time gets closer (we still have 4 and a half months!!), we should all talk about getting together for a BT dinner.  This has become a tradition where we have a larger group of BTers at a race...and I love putting these things together...so I hope to meet everyone there!

Count-down to 20 week training plan!!

Anyone planning on doing a 20-week training plan for Miami Man, the day to start is this up-coming Saturday. I'm aiming to make this my first triathlon where I follow a training plan as closely as possible with the hopes of being prepared for a race for a change haha.

Starting mine this week , although, It'll be modified to be more run based.  Right now I just want to survive Miamiman and I'm looking at Disney Marathon two months later to be my "A" race.

I'm gonna do an 18-week buildup, but I will also be more run-minded as I've got Marine Corps Marathon two weeks before, and I've gotta hit 3:30 there.  I'm just gonna use my own training plan, it worked well enough for IMAZ.  Which reminds me, I need to start thinking about writing this training plan!

18-week plan?  20-week plan?  You guys are good, last year I think I did the 2-week plan which includes no swimming and very little biking.  Then again I was in the bottom 10 so you better stick with your plans!

I don't think I'm going to do it this year.   I will try to come down for support or at least make the BT dinner though!
