Subject: HELP! philadelphia area - cycling routes
Hey all, will be staying with a friend this weekend in West Conshohocken (i think thats right).  Saturday I need to get in a good 40-45 miles.  Any good trails, routes, etc for those of you in the area?   THANKS!

Hop on the Schuylkill Trail and head out towards Valley Forge (west). There should be lots of cyclists out there to help guide you. Or you can just ride some of the roads through the Park out there.Probably other options too, but that's an easy one.

I was going to say the Schuylkill path as well. It's the easiest for you to get to probably. You can catch it in Conshy right down by the train station. Its pretty smooth, the miles are marked, and there's always other cyclist around. Be prepared to eat a ton of bugs tho...no joke, I was washing them down with gaterade the other day...yummmmy Like Johnny said, just head out towards Valley Forge and you'll get your mileage in no problem.

And you may know this, but Schuylkill is pronounced something like "Skay-kil" or "Skoo-kil" or something crazy like that. I could be wrong, but in case you were asking for directions. Anyone from the area that can help me out with that?

Click! It's pronounced "KOOO-kull"
