That is really sad!  Those poor pups.  I really hope that he had nothing to do with this!  If he did, I don't care how good of a player he is, he should at the VERY LEAST not be allowed to play football anymore.  What a craptacular rollmodel.  @sshat.

This was being discussed on Atl radio this morning.  The general question is "can you really fault Vick if he doesn't live there and probably didn't have any knowledge of the activities?"

I am NO Vick fan and he is a victim of many self-implicated bad situations, but it seems like the media is trying to pile up on him.

the person quoted from the humane society says that for years vick has been rumored to have been involved, and they've gotten calls alluding to vick's personal involvement in the dog fighting. yes, i know, rumors. but the sergeant schultz "i know nothing" defense is somewhat lacking.

and he had the gall to say, "It's unfortunate I have to take the heat." um, no, you drafting red bike, it's unfortunate that those dogs were brutalized.

Thank goodness I'm a Patriots fan living in GA.  Tom Brady isn't a saint, but Teddy Bruschi is!  I'm glad Goodell is cracking down on behavior in the NFL. It sends a good message to society that character matters, not just money.

Wait just a minute.  This happened in a house 600 miles away from Atlanta that Vick happens to own.  Has Vick done some dumb- things, yes, but is this one of them, no.  

I have never seen a thread about how stupid Post Properties is even though I'm sure that there have been some pretty big drug busts in some of there apartment complexes.

Yeah, Bucs fan here, I'm jumpin on this wagon...

BTW, the moron actually has had a site where he breeds dogs.  Conveniently, just shortly after the bust, www.VicksK9Kennels.com was shut down.  Sounds like a guy who isn't involved in dog fighting to me.  I actually visited the site right after the bust, and he breeds bred dogs that are known "fighters".

The guy is a self absorbed A-hole who doesn't belong in the NFL, at least not as a QB.  He reeks of "ME"ness, and loves only one thing...his mirror.  It obviously wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him get the boot!  And I'm not saying this because he scares me and my bucs, in fact...the Bucs OWN Mike Vick!
