This race is VERY small, so there isn't a chance of us not seeing each other!! There is a covered picnic area on the beach right at the swim start if ya'll want to plan to meet there pre-race. I'll be in the last wave, as I registered as an Athena, so I'll cheer the rest of you on as you start and finish your swim!!

How do we know what swim wave we are in?

Thanks

It'll be posted in the morning.  The race director always does a pre-race meeting, and it's a small race, so you won't miss anything.  I promise!  Waves are posted on the table when you check in before the race anyway...cap colors, times, everything.

Thanks Q! Looking forward to meeting you and the whole BT crew!

I was wondering how that person up above knew their wave number.

Last spring I did there was just one wave. Looks like Crystal River will only have about 150 people do they really need more than one wave I wonder.

Usually all men go first, all women go second, and all the rest (newbies, clydes, athenas, fat tire, etc) go last.  3 waves, 5 minutes apart.

Wendi, how long do you think it takes from Gville to CR?  Mapquest is telling me almost 1.5hrs.  Don't think its that long.

Prolly. It's a good ways East of G'ville.  It's 2 hours for me to CR and G'ville.

Yeah, I'm sure you know, drafting on the bike is not legal and Wendi walks the run, so drafting is useless.   j/k wendi
